Who we are

Supplier of the Year is an initiative of PromZ Platform. For questions about this privacy statement, please get in touch via the contact details on promz.nl.

Voting: contact details

To cast your vote, we ask for your e-mail address, company name and the name of your contact person. We use this information to process your vote and, only if you opt in via the newsletter checkbox, to keep you updated. If you leave that box unchecked, you will not receive the newsletter.

Separately from these contact details, we also store an irreversibly hashed (HMAC-SHA256) IP address and a hashed device id per vote — never the original, identifiable values. These hashes are used exclusively to check whether a vote has already been cast in a category, independent of your contact details.

Verification against automated voting

We use Cloudflare Turnstile to verify that a vote is cast by a human. In doing so, Cloudflare may process technical data (such as IP address and browser characteristics) in accordance with Cloudflare's own privacy policy.

Nominated companies

For nominated companies we display the company name, logo and (where available) a link to their website. This information originates from the nomination process and publicly available company information.

Retention period

Voting data (in hashed form) is kept for as long as necessary to determine and verify the result of the current edition, after which it is deleted or anonymised. Contact details are kept for as long as necessary for this edition; if you opted into the newsletter, we keep your details until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct and delete your contact details, and you can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time. We cannot separate an individual vote from your contact details, since they are submitted together. For questions about data processing, or to make a request, please get in touch via promz.nl.
